About us

The PEI Family Practice Nurses Association was set up in October 2010 to meet the need for training and support for the growing number of nurses working in primary care.

The association was started by Eleanor Earnshaw, R.N., a British-trained registered nurse who leads the Practice Nursing team at the Phoenix Medical Practice in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

We are a non-profit group of nurses and we provide an opportunity to network, share resources, provide training, and advance the role of nurses in family practice / primary care in PEI.
